Description
This course aims at empowering inclusive education by addressing behavioral challenges in the contemporary European education. More particularly the course takes a deep dive into the complexities of juvenile delinquency (antisocial behavior, misbehavior), focusing first of all on the psychology of delinquent adolescents, examining the impact of family relationships and self-esteem. We then highlight the importance of diagnosis, managing cultural conflicts, and developing effective communication skills. Following, the course delves into multiculturalism in education, discussing the role of immigration as a risk factor for delinquency. We conclude with ideas for further professional development of teachers, and a reflective discussion on the future of European society in relation to delinquent behaviors.
