Thanks to the course you will learn how to preserve and disseminate the local heritage that all of us have in our cities. Ireland will show you traditions and culture relevant places so you can prepare the same taking in account your teaching background and your own knowledge of your country. During the week students will discover the essentials of the Irish charming and heritage.
Description
The course is based on practical lessons and trips to discover local heritage based on different fields of education. The course will have amazing visits, stunning sightseeing, lectures and workshops to ensure full comprehension of the final task. You will receive knowledge about different fields of Education such as Science, Nature, History, Literature, Geography, enjoying the heritage of Ireland and visiting stunning places of the venue. During the week they will discover the essentials of the local heritage and, finally, teachers will plan their own Culture & heritage programme where they will summarise the course and establish parallelisms and similarities with the heritage of their own communities. This is the way to learn how to preserve and disseminate the local heritage that all of us have in our cities.

CULTURE AND HERITAGE course covers all the needs of the project cycle to preserve local culture. As a teacher, you will have to adapt Italian experience to your personal situation and your own reality in order to create a successful plan. The plan will start developing the idea, finding the right partners, designing a successful project, assessing during all the process –not only at the end– to manage properly and reporting it.
- To empower and to train teachers, education staff and those interested in preserving local Heritage.
- Improve their practical skills related to the preservation of local heritage.
- To know a great experience based on heritage and culture and be able to transfer the good practices in a satisfactory way to their own school centers.
- To improve the knowledge about how to create preservation projects in order to foster European integration based on local culture.
- Motivate their students in Nature and culture preservation.
Methodology & assessment
Our experienced trainer will support and stimulate the networking and cooperation among participants. We organise workshops, networking and cultural activities in order to give participants the opportunity to exchange best-practices and establish professional cooperation and links. These activities will take part not only participants of the course but also other participants from different courses attended by the company.
Materials, digital tools & other learning resources
The company will provide the majority of materials to participants and all the course contents will be shared in a digital format. Regarding this, participants' digital tools will be improved and there will be any doubts about sharing the materials. Actually, a Google Drive access will be given to participants, so they can download everything that has been receiving during the training time. Furthermore, monitoring and mentoring arrangements will take place during and after the course.
Certification details
The course will provide the participants an attendance 40-hour certificate, including the detailed information about the course, e.g. title, programme and schedule. In addition, a Europass Mobility Certificate can be added on request.

Course package content:
The cost of the course includes course fees, a free guided city tour, transportation for the training activities if this is necessary, and, obviously, the certification of attendance is included as well. The company offers guidance and will help with all necessary documents that the participant can need. Accommodation, meals and transport to the venue is not included in the course fees but an optional cultural package is offered to deepen the local culture.

Cancellation & changes:
Cancellations and Reimbursements of course fees are detailed in the booking confirmation document, but summarizing:.
- If participants cancel at least 4 weeks before the beginning of the course, the company will refund the entire amount, minus 20% of the course fee. In another case, the participant will be allowed to join another course/session in the following 12 months.
- In case of unforeseen circumstances (force majeure), the participant will receive a full reimbursement of the course fees.
