This innovative training course blends CLIL methodology with multicultural and gender diversity education. It is ideal for non-native language teachers and other educators who aim to present European culture using a foreign language and promote an inclusive classroom environment. The course emphasizes experiential learning, encouraging participants to apply content and language directly in practice, thereby enhancing communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
Participants will develop skills to teach European culture through foreign languages and learn strategies to support students from various cultural backgrounds. The training covers the integration of CLIL in European schools, the importance of teaching culture, and the practical application of multicultural education principles. Participants will also have the opportunity to visit the Museu do Fado in Lisbon, gaining cultural insights and understanding the significance of Fado music.

Day 2:
- CLIL in European schools: Can we teach everything in a foreign language?
- Examples of CLIL lessons and how to prepare a good CLIL lesson
- Identifying our own biases and understanding the cultural background of students
- Inclusion of migrants and refugee students in the EU educational system
Day 3:
- Teaching European culture and the importance of culture in our life
- Planning individual stages of the CLIL project
- Gender Studies: Social roles, differences between sex, sexuality, gender
Day 4:
- Educational materials and practice in the workshop (teamwork)
- Planning and presenting a CLIL lesson
- Connecting students from different backgrounds to the local community
Day 5:
- Sharing ideas and discussions
- The role of European law in promoting equality and dealing with discrimination
- Cultural visit to the Museu do Fado in Lisbon

Methodology & assessment
Our course methodology includes daily motivational activities, self-awareness exercises, personal development tasks, pair and group work, simulations, and networking both in the classroom and during outdoor activities.The course adopts a comprehensive approach that combines theoretical, practical, and empirical methods. Participants will analyze real cultural contexts and address their professional concerns. By integrating Flipped Classroom and Project-Based ºìÌÒÊÓÆµing strategies, participants will develop solutions tailored to their needs. Interactive sessions, including group discussions, role plays, and media analysis, will foster engagement and reflection.
Participants will utilize both digital tools, such as laptops and interactive screens, and analog materials like markers and whiteboards. Flexible classroom setups will support diverse learning activities. Daily reflections will help participants create improvement plans and promote their actions through online platforms and support networks. A "Museums Day" outing will enhance local cultural engagement. Assessment will be conducted through quizzes, practical assignments, and discussions to ensure understanding and growth.
