Alpha School's course, Business English in Action: Advanced Skills for the Digital Age, immerses participants in a comprehensive experience, presenting them with the chance to: 

  • To improve overall proficiency in written and spoken business English. 
  • To equip with advanced communication skills relevant to the digital age. 
  • To enhance the ability to draft professional documents and engage in complex business discussions. 
  • To develop strategies for effective communication in virtual and global business environments.

Empower participants to enhance written and spoken business English proficiency, develop advanced communication skills tailored to the digital age, and refine their ability to draft professional documents and engage in complex business discussions. Participants will also build strategies for effective communication in virtual and global business environments.

Covering essential management topics and communication skills.

Focusing on practical tools and collaboration, the course builds on participants' existing knowledge while fostering the exchange of ideas among professionals.

Methodology & assessment

All our sessions are practical and dynamic and include a focus on multimedia and technology for teaching purposes. This course is taught interactively, with discussion, brainstorming sessions, workshops and group work.
You will be encouraged to take an active role in all sessions, maximising your use of English, and experiencing for yourself the activities your learners will be participating in.
The course spans 5 days and is facilitated by Alpha's committed team, combining traditional classroom sessions with an Offsite Training day. During the Offsite Training day, participants engage in a practical task aligned with the course content.
Participants will be evaluated through daily reflections, group discussions, and
Showcase acquired skills and insights through, integrating material gathered during
the off site training day, presented on the last day of the course.

Materials, digital tools & other learning resources

Teams folder with slides of the course content are shared via Teams, enabling participants to access, contribute, and collaborate with peers, past and present, throughout the course.

Certification details

Upon completion, participants will receive a certificate, including their name, date of birth, course title, course dates, total sessions attended, and overall attendance record. This certificate recognises their participation and engagement.
