Bots in the Classroom: Empowering Students through Robotics Education
This innovative training course is designed to empower educators with the tools and knowledge to integrate robotics into education. In this course, participants will explore how robotics can enhance STEAM education, foster critical thinking, and ignite a passion for problem-solving in students.
Description
The course is designed to equip educators with the expertise to effectively integrate robotics into school curricula. It offers a hands-on approach to learning, providing participants with practical experience in designing, building, and programming robots suitable for diverse age groups. Through a series of interactive workshops, participants will learn key concepts of robotics, and explore how they can be seamlessly woven into subjects like mathematics, science, and computer programming. Pedagogical strategies for cultivating critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and teamwork will be emphasised. Educators will learn the tools to create dynamic learning experiences to nurture a new generation of tech-savvy, innovative thinkers by developing the skills of the 21st century (problem-solving, innovation, project management, programming, communication skills, cognitive skills related to analytic and synthetic thinking, creativity, critical thinking).
ºìÌÒÊÓƵing objectives
