In the 21st century, teachers face a myriad of expectations. They're responsible for guiding students through challenging learning stages, ensuring academic success and overall well-being. Balancing students' needs, parental expectations, and societal pressures adds to their workload, sometimes leading to burnout and job dissatisfaction.
Our course emphasizes a positive outlook in the school system. Participants will learn to embrace stress positively, practice gratitude, and shift from negative self-talk. Lessons will be split into theoretical parts and engaging practical exercises in particular.
Techniques like emotional management, self-control, and empathy building will be explored, aiming to rediscover resilience and enhance the quality of life.
Ƶing objectives
- Participants will be able to identify their ‘triggers’ and pinpoint everyday stressors
- Successfully incorporating our stressors into our daily routine, making stress our friend
- Ƶing acceptance of what is ‘out of my control and what is ‘in my control’
- Setting our daily Auto-pilot to the positive mode through positive affirmations
- Develop compassion and empathy towards ourselves and others and projecting it onto our students
- Build resilience through Mindfulness and learning how to appreciate the present moment
- Ƶ how to think outside the box and creatively solve problems.
Methodology & assessment
Continuous assessment - continuous observation of participant’s activity
Evaluation criteria:
Preparation, level of engagement in class, listening, questioning and discussing, problem-solving, group/partner teamwork
Evaluation procedures:
The evaluation will take place in the hosting organization and will be conducted
by teacher trainers at the end of the course.
Recognition conditions:
At least 80% course attendance
Materials, digital tools & other learning resources
All materials will be provided on-site and will be accessible after the course. Some courses require a phone or laptop, but you will be informed in advance to ensure you come prepared.
