Description

This Erasmus+ course empowers educators to confidently engage with AI while addressing its ethical and environmental impact in education. Through hands-on learning and collaboration, participants will:

  • Explore real-life case studies and ethical dilemmas
  • ºìÌÒÊÓÆµ to spot bias, privacy risks, and promote digital inclusion
  • Use PRISM mapping to reflect on ethical decision-making
  • Discover sustainable strategies for using AI in schools
  • Design lessons and projects that integrate AI tools mindfully

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the ethical implications of using AI in education
  • Identify and address bias, privacy concerns, and digital exclusion
  • Explore sustainable approaches to integrating technology in schools
  • Use the PRISM method for ethical decision-making and planning
  • Evaluate the long-term impact of AI on learners and teaching practices

Methodology & assessment

The course uses interactive, learner-centered teaching methods, including hands-on workshops, group discussions, case studies, peer feedback, and real-life classroom scenarios. Participants will engage in collaborative activities, ethical mapping (PRISM), and reflection sessions to deepen their understanding of AI, ethics, and sustainability.

ºìÌÒÊÓÆµing is assessed continuously through:

Active participation in group tasks and discussions

Completion of practical exercises and project work

Peer reviews of lesson plans and integration strategies

A final presentation of an AI-integrated classroom project

Participants will receive feedback throughout the course and a certificate of attendance upon successful completion.

Materials, digital tools & other learning resources

Participants will have access to a variety of curated learning materials, including case studies, ethical frameworks, and lesson plan templates. Digital tools used in the course include:

  • ChatGPT – for language practice, content generation, and classroom simulations
  • PRISM ethical mapping – a visual tool for analyzing ethical dilemmas
  • Collaborative platforms – for peer feedback, group work, and project planning
  • Sustainability and digital audit tools – to evaluate and improve current classroom tech pra

Certification details

At the end of the course, participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance, which includes:

  • Course title and description
  • Number of training hours completed
  • Name of the hosting organization (Inicijativa – Centre for Education)
  • Participant’s name
  • Erasmus+ KA1 reference (if applicable)
  • Signatures of the course facilitators

This certificate is fully aligned with Erasmus+ quality standards and can be used as proof of professional development.

  • Course package content:

    The course fee of €480 includes five days of expert-led training, all course materials, a full-day cultural activity, and a certificate of attendance. Accommodation, meals, and transport are not included in the course fee and should be arranged independently by participants. However, we are happy to assist by providing local recommendations for hotels, restaurants, and public transportation to help you plan your stay comfortably.

    Participants can cancel or request a change up to 30 days before the course with no charge. For cancellations made later, the full fee may be charged.
