Description

Long seen as essential for 21st-century learners, the "Four Cs" (Creativity, Critical Thinking, Communication, and Collaboration) are often easier to endorse in theory than to implement in practice.

Creativity and Critical Thinking are vital for innovation, and contrary to popular belief, they can be taught and cultivated in any classroom setting.

Communication and Collaboration are crucial life skills that help students navigate their daily school experiences and prepare them for future personal and professional interactions.

The "Four Cs" enhance learners' abilities to thrive in a rapidly changing world, promoting additional beneficial traits such as curiosity, confidence, caring, and cooperation.

This course is designed to equip teachers with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to integrate these vital competencies into their curriculum and school culture.

Through a hands-on learning environment, participants will deepen their understanding of these competencies, learning not just how to teach them, but also how to develop their own skills in creativity, critical thinking, effective communication, and collaboration.

Ƶing objectives

The course aims to help participants:

  • Clearly understand and personally experience the creative process;
  • Develop critical thinking skills to effectively navigate today’s information-rich environment;
  • Enhance communication skills and techniques for greater effectiveness;
  • Expand collaborative opportunities in the classroom and promote them throughout the school community;
  • Engage in an authentic international team-building experience.

Methodology & assessment

Our standard approach revolves around hands-on, practical learning, enriched with real-world job instances and immersive simulations. We wholeheartedly endorse collaborative techniques that nurture shared learning and cooperative interaction among participants. Our central focus centers on imparting knowledge and skills that help to transition into real-world scenarios, whether within professional contexts or classroom environments.

The pedagogical strategies we employ are rooted in experiential learning, group and peer activities, hands-on experience, and the exchange of best practices.

Throughout the course, we offer unwavering support to our partners, guiding them through the entire process – from application and preparation to ongoing monitoring and comprehensive evaluation, culminating in the collection of all pertinent documentation. Daily morning wrap-ups and brief evaluations ensure that the learning journey remains finely tuned to participants' evolving needs. Upon completion, participants receive supplementary materials and a wealth of evidence showcasing their newfound expertise.

Our commitment extends to making participants feel right at home during our courses.

For a holistic experience, we organize optional social, networking, and cultural activities. These offerings afford participants the chance to delve into the local culture while facilitating the exchange of best practices and the forging of professional connections.
