> Your EU Roman Cultural Heritage

The Roman Empire conquered and extended over a vast territory in Europe between 500 BC and the first century AD. Roman power imposed its vision of the world on many peoples, who gradually had to integrate Roman culture. This Roman heritage can be seen in a number of areas: politics (notion of citizenship); law; transport and traffic infrastructure (Roman roads/ Roman baths, dams and aqueducts); city plans; language (Latin) religion, Literature, Art (Christianity and Judaism), food. But Roman culture was also enriched by the cultures it dominated. What traces of this cultural heritage can still be seen in the different countries in the school taking part in the project?
