YES-EU (Young Europeans for a Sustainable European Union) is a project that aims at promoting the basic ideas of the EU as well as the seventeen Global Goals of the Agenda 2030 set up by the United Nations. Right now there are hard times for the European Union fighting on different fields for common goals. Be it the Brexit or political movements against the EU in some countries. Most people still have a skeptical view towards law and politics made in Brussels but the main goals and achievements that have already been made are not seen as very desirable by many European citizens. To change this situation we want the students to raise awareness of the Agenda 2030. During the four meetings that will take place in Italy, the Netherlands, Sweden and Germany, the students will work on the 17 goals set up by the UN and they will discover that the issues are seen from different perspectives but affect all people living in a peaceful European Union. This is why they do research on the goals.
