WOW-WONDERS OF THE WORLD
Our project is about wonders of the world.The students will search about 7 wonders of ancient and new world.We aim to lead the students both to learn and express their knowledge to others with the tasks that will be done.During the project the students will do activities such as:Designing logos and choosing a logo among them,creating a banner of the project,writing questions and answers to those questions about wonders for a game,creating a mentimeter cloud including wonders' names and locations during the first meeting, preparing a mind map of the wonders of the world consisting of information about new and ancient wonders(the common/joint product),making models of one of the wonders their group chooses using wasted materials and introducing the wonder at places named wonder corners,visiting a historical site and writing about that place on the ebook that will be created in a collaborative way.Throughout all the activities that will be done in the project,they will have a joint among themselves,their school and their peers.Especially with the visit of a historical site with their friends and teachers,filling a scavenger hunt document,we will try to accomplish the theme of eTwinning 2024 'wellbeing at school';the feeling of belonging to school and feeling good at school.We also hope that their self-confidence will improve while introducing the wonders to their teachers and friends ,thus one of the aims of the project,feeling better at schoool,will be achieved.Beside all these we aim to improve their awereness of environment by recycling the wasted materials to make the models for wonder corners.Moreover we are waiting for their interest in history to increase and their language skills to improve as well as their digital skills.
