The question of migration is as old as the history of man. What pushed the Romans to move into unknown territories, to meet or clash with different cultures What did they export from their capital town and what did they bring back home --- Pupils come into contact with this theme through literature and archaeological finds on the territory of their home town. With the help from teachers of various subject areas (Latin, history, geography, art, foreign languages) pupils collect data. The project involves inviting a network of different classes (14-18 years) from different schools, in Italy and abroad, that are to be found in places where the ancient Romans left their traces.
