Even though our countries are different we both are the part of Europe. To understand the past means we can avoid mistakes. To learn about countries' culture background is the key to getting to know each other. But, on the other hand, there are some events in European history that influenced life in Slovakia and Portugal. Our task is to find and be aware of them. We would also like to realize how history as the school subject is taught in Portugal and Slovakia. Last but not least, to make friends with a different cultural background in order to raise the tolerance among the inhabitants of Europe.
