VoiceCraft Cultivating Communication Through Sezătoare

Partnership cooperation in school education, co-founded by UE.The "VoiceCraft: Cultivating Communication Through Sezatoare" project, with a duration of 24 months, is proposed by the Halmeu Secondary School in partnership with 4 other educational institutions with the aim of developing the students' written and oral communication skills as well as the ability to to argue and present their own opinions using the sessional method. The project is framed in 2 priorities relevant to the field of school education (the development of key competences and the promotion of a comprehensive approach to the teaching and learning of foreign languages) and a horizontal priority (inclusion and diversity). The innovative character is represented by the use of the Sezatoarea method in order to develop the intercultural skills and critical thinking of the students. Different forms of expression will be used such as traditional games, storytelling, song, reciting some poems, crafts so that the students are involved in different forms of communication. Complementary initiatives of the partners aimed at developing emotional intelligence and critical thinking, using debates as a non-formal method, are presented. The transnational character of the initiative brings added value through the contribution made to the development of intercultural and communication skills in English. The direct beneficiaries are students between 12 and 14 years old, with a low level of general culture, with poor vocabulary and teachers.
