This project is created to instill a love of nature and to inspire children to do their part to give back to the environment that has done so much for them. Teaching our students about the environment not only can help them develop sustainable habits that are likely to stick with them as they grow up but also supports their emotional and physical development, nurtures their creativity and imagination, reduces anxiety and strengthens senses to explore and protect the wonderful world of trees.
Our children were awarded by Certificates of participation for their work on Trees and Us project. They liked it very much and we agreed to join/ found an eTwinning project also next school year.
We are happy to share our event for regional teachers with you. The event "Let´s talk about eTwinning and Erasmus" was held on June 12 and we invited teachers from our region to share our good practice related to international projects with them. One of the guests was also Slovak eTwinning ambassador and a lecturer of Erasmus +. She even made an article about this event and posted in on Slovak Press Agency. Our project "Trees and us" was also presented by our second graders and it was a big success.

I'm writing to let you know about our mascot Teresa. Unfortunately, we've had problems with her shipment due to the tariffs imposed. Teresa has been held at Romanian customs for over a month, but they haven't released her to the school, and she'll likely be returned to Scotland, where she came from. I'm sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you and your students, but these are things we can't foresee and are beyond our control. I wish you a great summer and happy holidays!

This celebration was not just a display of our achievements but a reaffirmation of the connections we've forged and the shared dreams we continue to nurture. Together, we reveled in the spirit of unity, leaving the day with hearts full of gratitude and inspiration for the journey ahead!!! â¤ï¸ðŸ‡ªðŸ‡ºðŸŒ³
We love books and we show it! On the occasion of World Children's Book Day 2/4, the children brought their favorite book and presented it to the class!

We focuse from our project on the importance of early literacy and the joy of reading, encouraging partners and families to engage our children in reading activities about trees that you can find in our Currricular Activities Page. Dear friends! Every morning we start from our small school garden, composed of our trees and also other plants such as zucchini, parsley or good grass. We water them very carefully and if necessary we transplant them into the largest pots. We really enjoy seeing how they grow thanks to our care! 🌳🌿🪴
