We would like to start a project about traditional songs (autumn, Christmas, spring etc.). Music is an important part of our culture. That's why we want to sing the traditional songs of our country with our students and learn from other cultures. Each school will present their songs and then sing the songs of the others in the original language. Moreover the students will explain the content of the songs in English by videos and texts. The project will be expanded by exchanging greeting cards, promoting our nations, our towns, our schools, organizing live events. This is a general programme which will be adapted and possibly modified during the course of the project in relation to the age and competences of the participants. For example, primary school children who do not yet learn English can teach the content of the songs or use story-telling apps. On the other hand, young people with sufficient language skills (English) will be able to expand their steps.
