This project is based on two fundaments: ICT is the basics of innovative educational methods; Telling stories is the basics of everyday life: introducing ourselves, sharing stories and experiences, connecting people all over the world and allowing the expression of knowledge, feelings and thoughts. This project combines those fundaments and focus on digital storytelling. This merges the art of traditional oral storytelling with multimedia features trying to answer the following questions: How can we improve the teaching, learning and formative assessment process in our classrooms through ICT? Can we improve our students' skills and levels of self - impression? Can we improve our students' positive attitudes towards cultural and ethnic diversity? Can ICT, particularly videos, be an innovative tool/method of… storytelling? preserving our communities’ heritage? promoting meaningful cross-curricular knowledge? improving students’ and teachers’ communication skills?
