STEM is the abbreviation for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. STEM education is at the center of the world among teaching models and is a popular education system. At the same time, with the development of technology, the professions of the future are also changing and it is said that we do not even know the names of the professions that future generations will do and that STEM education prepares individuals for future professions. STEM education is not an education in which children learn with a system based on memorization and then forget what they have learned, but is a system in which children learn by doing and experiencing in out-of-class environments and make what they have learned permanent. The aim of STEM education is to enable individuals to acquire 21st century skills such as critical thinking and the ability to produce creative solutions to existing problems in daily life with the knowledge they acquire from science, technology, mathematics and engineering fields. Introducing children to STEM education in the preschool period will enable them to acquire and internalize these skills at an early age. Concepts such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics and technology included in STEM education; It has different meanings for the preschool age group. Thinking about building a bridge with Legos, learning the algorithms of an animal's life cycle, learning to recognize shapes through music and dance, and witnessing the development process of a plant represent the fields of science, engineering and mathematics for this age group. STEM education given at an early age will positively affect children's early discovery of their own selves and talents and their development accordingly. With this project, we will make our students adopt Stem as a key competence in kindergartens.
