Rural versus urban economy in a teenager’s world

Our students live in a totally different economic regions. The Belgian students live in a rural area and go to school in a provincial city. The French students live in an urban area and go to school in the suburbs of a metropolis. In this project, students will compare the two regions regarding different aspects of economy (international companies, shops, tourism, leisure facilities for young people, …) Of course there will also be some ice-breaking activities so that students have the time to get to know each other. In addition, contributions will be made to the development of 21st-century skills such as participation in discussions, taking responsibility, communicating, collaborative work, using digital tools consciously and effectively, cultural understanding and foreign language proficiency.
