Teaching children about diversity helps them understand that people can be different and the same all over the world. Although skin color and traditions can vary, all people of the world need love, compassion and understanding. In a world that is constantly diversifying, children in schools will be exposed to peers that come from different backgrounds. This is an opportunity to allow kids to explore other cultures and see what is great about each of them. Diversity education early in childhood is important in the effort to end discrimination and shatter stereotypes. Through this partnership project, primary school students (from different countries) to collaborate on a common project, learn about diversity, multiculturalism, tolerance, practicing communication, ICT, comparing written and spoken language.
