Reset Today Or Game Over Tomorrow

Reset Today Or Game Over Tomorrow" is a project about the environment. The aim is to educate children about the day to day causes of pollution and empower them to find solutions within their own home, school anf local community. Young people today are aware of many catch phrases such as global warming, carbon footprint etc. These are hurled around by the media and at protest demonstrations like „Fridays for Future“. Yet many pupils do not really understand the meanings or the connection between global warming and climate change, nor do they see how they can help to reduce pollution. The aim of this project is to educate pupils on established expert knowledge so they understand the mechanisms involved in global warming. Thus equipped with a basic understanding of the sources of environmental pollution, we aim to encourage students to identify problematic areas within their school, home and local environment and work on improvements. By empowering them to work on solutions and introduce guidelines pupils are able to act as multipliers at home and within their communities. This approach requires a cross-curricular approach involving most subjects using various mediat The idea ist to involve the whole school by working on different relevant topics at all school levels. The title of the project is meant to appeal to young people who often enjoy computer games, to encourage them to overcome hurdles and keep working towards a common goal.
