Recycling Connect: A Recycling Journey Across Cultures

“Recycle Connect” is an educational collaborative project that aims to highlight the importance of recycling as one instrumental strategy to mitigate the negative effects of human behavior on the environment. It aims to direct the student's attention ( primary and secondary students aged between 13-17) towards more sustainable, cost-efficient methods to prevent pollution and save resources. It will also invite students from diverse backgrounds to collaborate and explore the topic of recycling through the lens of their unique cultures. The project will enhance students sustainable and environmental literacy, foster a deeper understanding of recycling practices worldwide while empowering them to make a tangible impact in their local communities. It will also endorse various skills, such as creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, global citizenship and digital literacy. The project is aligned with sustainable development goals (SDGs) Goal No.13: climate action / Goal No.12: responsible consumption and production and will use the English language as a medium of communication. Throughout the project, the students will work in mixed groups and will use ICT tools in order to communicate and collaborate.
