On May 30th 2022, 2 teachers and 17 students came to visit IIS Amari Mercuri for 3 days, living an amazing experience. During the morning they carried out activities in different artistic labs, (sculpture, painting, multimedia and fashion) while another group worked with a chemistry teacher and worked with experiments and observations about climate change effects. During the afternoon, IIS Amari Mercuri students and teachers led the turkish students to the city centre of Rome and visited the most interesting places, such as the Roman Forum, the Colosseum, the Sistine Chapel and the Vatican Museums. During the day of June 2nd, a whole day out altogether was spent and the students could see the morning show from Piazza del Popolo in Rome, where the three coloured airplanes contrail flew above our heads.
IIS Amari Mercuri students are about to leave to visit Nevsehir Bahcesehir Kolej students in October, when our project will come to an end. The visit will focus on morning laboratories and afternoon excursions in Capadokia, where the turkish students will proudly show the beauty of their own country.
