Günümüzün en büyük çevre sorunlarından biri atıklarımızla çevreye verdiğimiz zararlardır. Her ne kadar geri dönüşüm konusunda bilinç artmış olsa da, bir çoğumuz asıl önemli olanın atıklarımızı azaltmak olduğunun yeterince farkında değil. Projemiz ile öğrencilerimize geri dönüşümden önce atıklarımızı minimize etmeyi öğretmeyi ve bunu yaşam boyu sürecek bir alışkanlık haline getirmelerini sağlamayı hedefliyoruz. Bu süreçte öğrencilerimizin tek kullanımlık plastikler yerine alternatifleri bularak önce okulumuzda , sonra yaşamın her alanında bunları kullanmalarını ve çevrelerindeki kişilere yaygınlaştırmalarını, bu sayede daha az plastik atık üretmelerini bekleyeceğiz. One of the biggest environmental problem of today is the damage we cause to the environment with our wastes. Although awareness about recycling has increased, many of us are not aware enough that the most important thing is to reduce our waste. With our project we aim to teach our students to minimize our waste before recycling and to make it a lifelong habit. In this process, we will expect our students to find alternatives instead of single-use plastics, to use them first in our school and then in all areas of life, and to disseminate this to the people around them, thus produce less plastic waste.
