One Goal a Day keeps the danger away!

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), also known as the Global Goals, were adopted by the United Nations in 2015 as a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure that by 2030 all people enjoy peace and prosperity. In this project students aged 13-14 from IES Eduardo Primo Marqués and 2nd Gymnasium of Kavala are asked to get familiarized with the 17 SDC’s and to focus on 8 of them, one for each month of the project. (Nov 2022 - May 2023) They are called to think what they can do to promote the sustainable goals, one different each month, and at the same time to celebrate the unesco international days. (https://www.unesco.org/en/days) They share ideas, texts or practices with their mates and they create 7 collaborative walls, one per month/ international day, in order to gain consciousness on the values behind the 17 SDG’s At the end (May 2023) they create digital board games in Genially (https://app.genial.ly/editor/637a459b8460fb0017c63893) using data from UNDP (https://www.undp.org/sustainable-development-goals ) and they propose it to their classmates to help them get familiarized with the goals. Then the Spanish team will play the game created by Greeks and vice-versa. They can play the games during an online meeting
