This is an international project, during which students of grades 4 and 5 from two schools from different counrties will meet. Students from Latvia attend a Lithuanian school, because their families are originally from Lithuania, but most of the students communicate in Russian. During the project, participants will strengthen communication and cooperation skills, because during the project, students will communicate in Lithuanian and Latvian. Lithuanian students attend an after school club, during which they learn Latvian. So this will be a great opportunity for participants from both countries to learn languages. The project participants will present the traditions of their countries, go on a field trip to the Mūša Tyrelis swamp, write letters to a new friend, and participate in educational activities.
