New People- New Friends- New Horizons

Immigration towards Europe has a long history. However, it increased substantially in the later 20th century. We believe that one of the most important attempts is to give all children education, which is one of the Children Rights. Therefore six countries from Italy, Sweden, Netherlands, Portugal, Greece and Cyprus decided to come together to share new ideas on methodologies in teaching migrant children and children from our different nations, for example about migration today and through our history. We also believe in innovative methodologies as the best way to enhance our students’ performance at school, such as PBL and the work with different ICT tools. With the help of this project we aim to take a step further towards breaking stereotypes and prejudices, and promoting a European atmosphere where diversity and multiculturalism are cherished.
