The project has the Sun as its center of interest, with the benefits and damages it brings to us both as people and nature. From an early age, children learn that the Sun gives us light and heat, elements necessary for people, animals and plants. But throughout life, we learn that the Sun can influence our lives negatively, even become dangerous. Thus, students will discover and learn about the importance of the Sun in the growth and life of animals and plants, about the joys it offers to people on vacation, but also the consequences of excess. They will discover ways to harness solar energy but also to protect against UV rays. They will conduct research in small groups and work as a team to discover solutions and present materials using web 2.0 applications.
