MY PUPPET HAS SOMETHING TO TELL

Stories are important elements that support children's development from past to present. Telling stories with the "narration using puppets" technique is both more fun and more effective as it appeals to more than one senses. Animating the book character that children envision in their minds with the help of puppets improves their symbolic thinking skills. Animating the book read by the parent with the help of a puppet requires the child's mind and body organs to act in coordination and directly contributes to motor development. Books and stories positively develop children's receptive and expressive language development, awareness of literacy, imagination and empathy. Stories that create different experiences in preschool children without being limited in time and space give children different perspectives. With this work, we aim to improve children's language, cognitive and motor development, early literacy awareness, active use of imagination and empathy
