COLORFUL MUSIC EDUCATION PROJECT Recently, a 19-year-old young man in Izmir and a taxi driver who took him into his car to help him were on our agenda. We all expressed our reaction and sadness. With each passing day, similar and worse events occur more and more in many parts of the world, further increasing the importance and necessity of inclusive education. In the virtue and values section of the education we provide; Respect for human life and nature is essential. Most children are good at heart. Especially in younger age groups, words we say and behaviors we are not aware of can have huge positive and negative effects on children. Education; When it is implemented in a planned and consistent manner, as a team, by taking into account scientific stages, in a child-centered way; It turns into a magic wand with which it is possible to get positive results for every child. Child-centered education; It is the undisputed need and right of every child. If we take the right steps in order, we will not lose any child, on the contrary, we will win even our troubled children. In our colorful music project; Children will first be introduced to the melodica. Then they will be encouraged to decide to buy a melodica of their own free will. In order to increase environmental and recycling awareness, they will make their own money boxes from used bottles and leftover materials in the classroom. They will take the piggy banks home to collect money. While the children are saving money in their piggy banks, they also learn portraits and notes in the classroom through methods such as mathematics, drama, painting. After a month, they buy their own melodica with the savings they made. Children practice melodicas using the coding method using numbers, in accordance with the notes taught. At the end of the process, children learn to play some songs on the melodica. In May, children give a melodica concert presentation. In this way, it is aimed to bring a smile to the faces of children whose hearts have been injured due to the Covid-19 epidemic and other natural disasters.
