Maths Safari - to the rescue of endangered animals

Pupils set off in a self-built eco-vehicle on a symbolic journey across the continents in the form of a ‘safari’, during which they discover animals in danger of extinction. Each encounter with a new animal involves a mathematical challenge - a task, a game or a riddle, the solution to which ‘saves’ the animal. Mathematics becomes a tool for action and help. During the journey, there will be a “Travel Diary” describing endangered species - students will create a graphical representation of mathematical and natural facts about selected species, a Book of Mathematical Riddles, a Spot - Protecting Endangered Partner Species and their countries. We will code and use artificial intelligence to generate animals of the future. A project for children aged 8-11 years. Project duration school year 2025/2026..
