MAKEBA

The project aims to encourage and empower students to respect human rights and to integrate the practice of human rights protection into their daily lives. While researching about human and civil rights, students will also learn about the culture of peace and non-violence, socially just relations, solidarity and active and responsible citizenship as well as how to respect and accept diversity. Students will not only strengthen their self-confidence, understanding of others and cooperation skills during the project, but they will also develop creative and critical thinking, determine their choices, make decisions and become aware of personal responsibility on social networks. The contents prescribed by the subject curricula and curricula of cross-curricular topics will be realized within the selected topics on the page Projects and events in the area. The project partners, respecting the prescribed national subject curricula and cross-curricular topics for each cycle/class, will choose common topics during which they will strengthen specific competencies related to the objectives by including in activities, events and projects that are carried out in the area, at the national, European or world level.
