LITTLE ASTRONOMERS

The project is planned to last from October to May. The students will be between the ages of 8 and 14. This project is planned to support interdisciplinary learning of astronomy using technology-supported and English language skills. The project will include activities such as gaining a better space knowledge/understanding, gaining broad achievement in scientific skills, learning the history of astronomy and the civilizations that study it, getting to know the lives of scientists who have worked in the field of astronomy, writing short dialogues, collaborative activities using common workspaces, learning the functions of NASA, ESA and TUA through research, study/reading, and taking part in the project by taking photos or videos of the event. Families will help students bake space cookies. A souvenir stamp will be prepared and sent to the Post Office. The final product will be a calendar/e-book/website/game.
