Let My Forests Not Burn, Let My Saplings Grow

In recent years, many forest fires have occurred in our country, affecting both nature and our future. We want to start a project where students can learn about forest fires and environmental awareness, protect nature together, and help reforest areas by planting trees. Everyone’s contribution matters in our project: by learning, sharing, and connecting with nature together, we can take steps toward a greener future. This project brings together students aged 13–18 from different countries to learn about the importance of forests, understand the causes and consequences of forest fires, and explore sustainable ways to protect and expand green areas. Through collaborative activities, students will gain knowledge, develop critical thinking skills, and foster environmental responsibility. The project focuses on three main objectives: 1. Education and Awareness: Students will research forest ecosystems, fire prevention, and reforestation. They will share their findings through presentations, videos, and infographics. 2. Active Participation: Students will engage in local tree planting activities, online campaigns, and creative projects such as digital storytelling or art competitions, emphasizing the importance of preserving nature. 3. International Collaboration: By collaborating with peers across borders, students will compare environmental challenges in their regions and exchange ideas on solutions. This cultural exchange encourages global thinking and empathy for environmental issues. Our project also integrates digital skills, using eTwinning tools to communicate, collaborate, and present results. Students will document their activities on the platform, creating blogs, videos, and photo reports
