ºìÌÒÊÓƵing from our grandparents

Nowadays, our students are so absorbed by the digital world that playing with other children, knowing the oral heritage of their locality or even knowing stories of their families' past is not a reality. This project aims to recover stories from the time of our grandparents, those that passed by word of mouth, such as lullabies, proverbs, stories, chants, legends or even true stories about life events. With the largest number of partners, we will be able to build an ebook that illustrates the different experiences in different countries and share History and Culture. Knowing each other we can build bridges!

Hello dear colleagues! The school year it is ending, but I feel there is much more we can add to the project before ending it.
Are you willing to continue the project next September before we close it?

I still have work to publish, but I haven't had time with all the final work at school.

tell me your thoughts.

All the best

HELLO everyone! i have just posted two videos about the traditional Sardinian dances, (su Ballu sardu), which are very popular during religious celebrations. I saw a nice video fom the Spanish school, too. If you  have similar traditions in your countries, please post them in the section PAST HERITAGE IN OUR PRESENT.

Do you think we should add a special section for nursery rhymes, songs, children games or shall we modify the title of PROVERBS AND SAYINGS including them into it?

Hi everyone!

On request by ²Ñá°ù³¦¾±²¹ Azevedo and according to the original plan of the project, I have added a further section to our PADLET: PROVERBS AND SAYINGS. I  suggest writing them in our local or national  language and then translating, if possible, into English. It would be nice and fun to find similar proverbs in our countries! 😉😊Do you agree or suggest anything else?

Hello!

I posted the pictures from my special education students granparents ( and i added my grandparents too, my students were very curious about them!!)

We voted  in the logos from everyone ( not ours of course). they saw the logos from each school, and choose the one they liked more, and then we voted.

If everybody votes we can choose the official logo for the project!!

Hugs from São Jorge!
