Kids in Action! Their stories make History

The main goal of the project is to raise awareness on the topic of Human Rights by presenting of 4 children-activists who dedicated their lives to this cause. The 4 children, Ruby Bridges, the first African-American girl to integrate an elementary school in 1960. Iqbal Masih, from Pakistan who fought against Child Labour. Malala Yousafzai, a Pakistani girl who is fighting for Female Education. And last but not least Greta Thunberg, a Swedish environmental activist for Climate Change Mitigation. The project will also be linked to the 17 goals for sustainable development by the U.N. Students will learn by watching videos, reading articles, playing games and they will create materials to contribute to the aim of raising awareness on Human Rights and inspire their peers to be active citizens who fight for this cause. They will communicate in English and collaborate to create. We are 3 teachers from Greece, 2 from Spain, 2 from Turkey and one from Poland.
