THE JOURNEY OF DOUGH (Hamurun Yolculuğu)

Since the discovery of fire, grains which are among the main food sources of humans, have taken their place on our plates after going through various stages such as grinding, flour, dough, etc. Also, when considered that our geography is one of the world's leading granaries, products made from dough vary greatly from region to region. Through our project, firstly it is planned to learn types of grains from past to present and processes of making bread, to search different types of bread in our regions (cornbread, wheat bread, etc.), to search out products made with dough and share the informations with the partners (according to usage area of it, patty, vermicelli, baklawa, etc.), to practise examples of products made with dough both in our regions and other regions by peer learning at the cooking department in food and beverage services section in vocational and technical anatolian high school.
