    Each group has to present their project ideas:

  • Time bracket to present the ideas: 10 minutes/group.

Food for Thoughts: Connecting European Values Internationally Through Food

Project Structure

  1. International Teams
    • Partner your students with peers from other European countries (via eTwinning, pen pals, or partner schools).
    • Form mixed teams to promote cross-cultural exchange.
  2. Virtual Kickoff
    • Host an online meeting to introduce teams, discuss project goals, and brainstorm ideas about food and shared values.
  3. Collaborative Research & Creation
    • Each team chooses a dish from their countries.
    • Research together via video calls, shared docs, and messaging platforms.
    • Explore how the dishes reflect European values (inclusion, sustainability, solidarity, etc).
  4. Creative Online Presentation
    • Teams create digital content (videos, blogs, virtual “menus,” infographics, social media campaigns) showcasing their dishes and the values they represent.
    • Optional: Host a live virtual “Food for Thoughts” fair where teams present to each other and the wider school community.
  5. Shared Cookbook or Website
    • Compile all recipes, stories, and value explanations into a collaborative online cookbook or website.
    • Invite families and communities to view and contribute.
  6. Reflection & Feedback
    • Use online surveys, video journals, or discussion boards for students to reflect on what they learned about European values, food, and citizenship.

  • Padlet, Canva, or Google Sites for sharing creative work
  • Zoom or Google Meet for live sessions
