The main topic of our project is "Sustainability and Social Innovation". This eTwinning project aims to sensitise students to the concepts of sustainability and social innovation, increase their knowledge on these issues and improve their ability to solve social problems. In this context, we plan to offer a more learner-oriented approach with our project as well as institution-based improvements in the school. In the implementation of social innovation initiatives, the most common themes in the field of education and lifelong learning are the themes related to reducing disadvantages. One of the aims of our project in this regard is, for example, to provide opportunities for more attractive (e.g. fun through gamification) or effective learning environments while at the same time promoting digital literacy, because such new applications and learning contexts will be possible by using digital devices for learning. As a result, our project demonstrates an ongoing process of social innovations in education and lifelong learning. As project activities: Virtual meetings and interactive lectures will be organised between students from the participating countries. Research on sustainability and social innovation will be conducted. Social innovation projects will be developed to address social problems. At the end of the project, we are planning to organise an event where students will present their projects. As a result of the project, students will be aware of sustainability and social innovation issues. In addition, their international understanding will increase through opportunities for co-operation and cultural exchange between students from different cultures. This project will provide an opportunity to enrich students' learning experiences and contribute to the building of future sustainable societies. For the successful realisation of the project, cooperation and sharing of ideas by the participants will be encouraged.
