I am a teacher

October 5 is International Teacher's Day and it is celebrated in more than 100 countries of the world. The celebration of International Teachers' Day originates from October 5, 1994, and the idea of establishing it as an international day belongs to several pedagogical organizations. As the founders explained, the establishment of this day aims to support teachers. According to UNESCO, the establishment of October 5 as International Teachers' Day shows the contribution that teachers make to the upbringing and education of future generations. The International Federation of Education, which unites professionals working in the field of education around the world, is convinced that International Teachers' Day is an important date and it should be celebrated all over the world. The International Federation of Education also believes that the articles included in the statute of International Teachers' Day should be implemented in all countries. Today, every year in more than 100 countries around the world, teachers celebrate their professional holiday on October 5.
