The project “I am European!” started up from attending an Erasmus+ structured course called “Every pupil is important – Special education in Finland and in Europe!”, held in Joensuu, Finland. The participants decided to work on this collaborative project and exchange best practices on the topic of educational and social inclusion in their institutions. Our project’s aim harmonizes with the European development strategy of all European schools in terms of offering high quality education to all students, especially those from disadvantaged categories (immigrants, with physical, behavioral and socio-emotional disabilities, coming from disorganized families with poor financial situation, in foster care, with a risk of grade repetition and early school leaving).
