Transition Year Horticulture students from Midleton College, Ireland, and their peers from Eichendorff Gymnasium Ettlingen, Germany would like to simultaneously create two traditional herb gardens in their respective schools while keeping each other informed about the progress. We hope to learn about botany, propagation, garden design and environmental stewardship, while also honing our digital literacy skills and improving our communication and interpersonal skills. The project will culminate in cultural exchanges, with visits to each other’s schools and joint work in the school gardens.
