The Global Mosaic" is a collaborative eTwinning project designed for students aged 12-13 from seven different countries/schools. Our primary goal is to foster cultural understanding, digital literacy, and creativity by exploring seven engaging universal themes: Appearances & Personality, Biography, Wild Animals, Television, Dreams, Planets, and Environments.
Each partner country will "adopt" one theme and present it through their unique cultural perspective. For example, students from one partner country will lead the exploration of "Wild Animals," showcasing their rich biodiversity, while students from the other country will explore "Biography," highlighting their historical figures.
Through this exchange, students will not only learn about the specific themes but also discover the similarities and differences that make each culture unique. They will collaborate using various digital tools (TwinSpace, Padlet, Canva, Flipgrid,Genially, Kahoot) to create presentations, videos, digital magazines, and interactive quizzes.
The final outcomes will include a collaborative digital "Global Mosaic" magazine, an interactive world map showcasing each country's work, and a virtual art exhibition of student dreams and aspirations. This project aims to break down classroom walls, allowing students to become global citizens who explore the world, dream big, and connect meaningfully with their peers.
