Gender Equality is one of the most important things for the cultures to develop as a whole. Everybody accepts that in theory but we may fall behind in practice with our unintentional words or actions. Most children are not aware of that their using inveterate idioms or proverbs may be an obstacle to improve gender equality in societies. Most of us traditionally accept the habitual attitude and behaviours which are actually wrong and make one part of the society feel excluded, depreciated and despised but all words and actions matter. We can’t let our children grow low-esteem because of these words or actions so it’s time to create an awareness about all the words we use, all the actions we take and the attitude we have. Every single person is important and we can make a difference by changing our words, actions and attitude.
