Folk forms of storytelling

Since ancient times, people have had a need to tell stories. Short stories, fables, fairy tales, songs, and proverbs were created long ago, but even today, they have a strong influence on people. Children first learn from their grandparents, and later from their teachers, growing up with folk tales. Are we aware of the impact they have on our daily lives? The goal of this project is to raise awareness among high school students about the folklore of their culture, its current relevance, history, and meaning. Through research and group work, we aim to highlight the importance of folk tales and, in doing so, preserve our customs and traditions.
