Teaching English - or any foreign language-might be easier if you succeed in making students learn as many words as possible and in a short while, but false friends can mislead you and cause misunderstandings. The purpose of the project will be that of starting an e-twinning competition, pushing students tofind examples of false friends, between English and their own mothertongue language mainly, but possibly also for other languages ,and push them to test their collegues. We will experience managing the lesson and possibly assessing learning, checking how many examples were found and finally a reflection on the eventual Latin origin of the word, in English, Italian , Russian or whatever European language
