Croatia is definitely not only one of the most frequent destination for the Czechs. How much in common do Czechia and Croatia actually have when taking into account some of the most important aspects of environmental protection and sustainability? The project will consist of three main parts. Part 1: Pupils make introductory cards in Padlet where they shortly introduce themselves, maybe include a photo or make an avatar/draw a picture. This is only for the pupils to get to know each other a little bit. Part 2: The pupils are split into small international task teams and each team is asked to focus on a different topic from the area of environmental protection and sustainability. The topics are predesignated by the founders of the project. There is always an international task team consisting of Czech (CZ) and Croatian (HR) pupils working on one specific topic. The pupils are to make a poster in Canva focusing on the designated specific topic from the above mentioned areas. The posters are to be uploaded onto the TwinSpace. Part 3: The Czech pupils are going to visit their Croatian peers in Ploce in May 2025 as part of the Erasmus+ student mobility programme and present their projects and hold a discussion. A common conclusion is to be reached on what can be done on a personal level to protect the environment in both countries and live a sustainable life.
