Everything can be measured and calculated. The goal is to find out what and with whom we are measuring.

Actuality While exploring, students get to know the objects in their immediate environment, compare them, indicate the purpose of objects, measure their length, height, weight, and experience the joy of knowledge. They also familiarize themselves with measuring devices and test them in various activities. A child's cognitive development is inseparable from his ever-expanding awareness of the similarities and differences between objects. Measurement - perception of the ratio of the size of an object, the ability to measure, distinguish between measuring devices. A sense of measurement and logical thinking are very important for children. In the field of measurement, the child's education improves: the ability to identify, group, classify objects.

Tasks: • Play, explore everyday situations using measuring devices. • Develop mathematical and engineering skills and critical thinking • To cooperate with peers - to propose means and methods of your choice, symbols that would provide clear mathematical information of the immediate environment. • Use ICT tools. • To name measuring devices, to say what and by whom we measure
Targeted results: • Will study everyday situations with various measuring devices. • Will improve mathematical, engineering abilities and critical thinking. • Will be able to use ICT tools for measurement. • Name the measuring devices, tell what and with whom we measure.

Activity 1 - "What and with what we measure" - conversation, discussion about measuring devices, prepared stand presentation "Measuring units"
Activity 2 - Creating measuring devices from secondary raw materials "Measuring device developers"
Activity 3 - use of ICT tools "Smart measuring tools"
Activity 4 - creative activity "Measure without a device"
