EUROPEAN DAY OF LANGUAGES 2021 I am looking for partners (12-15 yrs) to celebrate european language diversity on September 26th for the European Day of Languages 2021. The goal is to get around 12 european schools presenting their language. My idea (open to suggestions) is to have each school send in at the latest by September 20th 1) a short video in two parts a)in your own language: -Introduce your language in your own language: use props, flags, maps, pictures to facilitate understanding. -some common and typical words : hi, thank you, bye ( create a simple scene that facilitates understanding and learning) -what foreign languages can you learn in your country? ( use the foreign language, show a textbook) B) in english : -Untranslatable words that don´t really exist in other languages than yours. These words are often related to the local culture. ex: in swedish; fika ( a special snack ) -some ´cool´ teenage words. -influence from other languages in your own language. 2) c
