When we ask students define what a documentary is, their first association is with the films shown on television channels such as Discovery or National Geographic. By offering a program of documentaries from the CinEd collection, we want to diversify the viewers' perspective on this cinematic genre. These films aim to bring students into contact with the art of documentary film, which does not simply record reality but has an artistic purpose and expresses concerns and feelings, sensitivity to social issues.
